CHeRiTH VaLLeY gardens is a family owned and operated business located in Fort Worth , Texas . We are committed to creating the finest garden fresh products. As often as possible, we purchase our produce locally. We are a “hot ‘n spicy” line of pickled vegetables, salsas, hors d'oeuvre jellies, spirited fruits, grille and dipping sauces, and gourmet syrups. We hand-pack our products and there are no artificial preservatives, colorings or flavorings.

In 1986, Alan Werner was a principal in an independent oil company, which funded, drilled and operated gas and oil wells in West Texas . The stock market plunge of October 1987 precipitated the eventual collapse of the company. Out of this trauma and our searching, we discovered a desire to “return to the land.” At that time we began gardening in order to produce vegetables to feed our family. Our entire family prepared the soil, planted, watered, weeded, harvested and canned our garden's bounty for the year's consumption. After using our canned items as gifts, we were strongly encouraged to market our specialty products. All of the recipes for our product line have been developed from old as well as new family recipes. On May 8, 1993 , we officially produced the first CHeRiTH VaLLeY gardens product.

CHeRiTH VaLLeY gardens' story has been written in Texas Monthly and the Fort Worth Star Telegram and we were featured on Good Morning Texas in 1999. In 2004 we were honored to be featured on Food Finds on the nationally televised Food Network . It was quite a production and a very exciting event. We are also pleased to be involved in the “Taste of Texas” program which is sponsored by the Texas Dept. of Agriculture. We have won numerous awards in the gourmet food industry.
